Basic A level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who have no or very little experience in speaking English. It lays the foundations for future study in terms of language learning skills and strategies. Students begin with the alphabet and numbers, learn and practice the basic present, past, and future grammar structures as well as most frequently used words and social expressions that build their survival vocabulary. They develop the newly acquired language competence and perform a variety of communicative tasks required at the elementary level. A learner centered, activity-based approach, authentic oral and written materials give learners a clear sense of progression.

Basic B level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who don't have much experience in speaking English. It focuses on developing students' integrated skills, reviewing and adding some more basic grammar, vocabulary, and everyday functional language. Students learn how to use a dictionary, collocations, ask different questions, and write simple formal and informal letters. They are able to read, listen, and understand authentic materials, use new language structures in a wide range of discourse activities, describing people and places, talking about their hobbies, sports they like and things they have done. A learner centered, activity-based approach, authentic oral and written materials motivate students to speak English not only in class, but also out of class.

Intermediate A level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who need to further develop their receptive and productive language skills. Students' integrated skills are developed on the basis of more complicated authentic materiasl for listening and reading. They are able to significantly enrich their active vocabulary, social language, and grammar, using present perfect and present perfect continuous, comparative and superlative adjectives, phrasal verbs, some idioms and conditional clauses. Students participate in discussions, create their own conversations and act them out with the classmates. They are able to correct common mistakes, write postcards, letters, e-mails, a book review, and describe their dreams for the future. A variety of interesting classroom activities promotes success in language acquisition and enthusiasm for learning.

Intermediate B level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for upper intermediate non-native speakers of English. It aims to extend and review numerous structures previously studied at the intermediate level. Reading interesting texts involves students in discussion and teaches them to use social language appropriately. Listening to a lot of dialogues and monologues, interactive grammar and vocabulary exercises encourage students to take an active part in various big–and-small group activities, build and develop their knowledge and core language skills in listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

Advanced A level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for advanced non-native speakers of English. It focuses on reviewing grammar, adds some new information about the usage of tenses, modal verbs, question forms, and different types of clauses which help students to better understand the system of the English grammar. Provided with ample situations, students are able to analyze and practice new grammar structures and vocabulary used in informal spoken English, develop their competence and communicate their ideas effectively in speaking and writing. They further master their listening, reading, and writing skills based on different topics that stimulate their interest and expand their knowledge of the world.

Advanced B level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for advanced non-native speakers of English. It promotes learning through developing students' integrated skills. Students improve their grammar and vocabulary skills by learning how to avoid repetition, using past forms of modal verbs, common phrasal verbs, compound words, collocations, idioms, synonyms, and antonyms in speaking and writing. They learn to take notes focusing on new language structures and apply this knowledge in dialogues and monologues they create and act out. This course is designed for advanced non-native speakers of English. It focuses on developing students' integrated language skills. Learners are exposed to a variety of "thought-provoking topics" for listening and reading. A wide range of activities that follow involve students in discussing what they have read and listened to, developing their critical thinking skills. Students enrich their vocabulary and grammar and learn to "listen and read between the lines", express their opinions on modern technology, peoples' behavior, culture, crime, different events in history, business and finance. Students are able to improve their communicative confidence, fluency, and accuracy and develop proficiency in advanced listening and speaking.

Advanced +B level (240 total classroom hours)

This course is designed for advanced non-native speakers of English. It continues to stimulate the development of critical thinking skills. Students enhance the usage of synonyms, idioms, collocations and master complex grammar structures. Being exposed to diverse authentic topics, learners are able to infer information not explicit in reading, relate it to real life and their own experience, organize, synthesize and evaluate information from several texts, take notes, brainstorm different ideas, preparing to use them in different types of essays and thus improving their fluency and accuracy in writing. Students also learn how to use the Internet for intensive vocabulary and grammar practice as well as a research tool.

TOEFL Preparation (240 total classroom hours)

This course focuses on refining students' reading, listening, speaking, writing, and integrated language skills, enriching their vocabulary, grammar and developing fluency, accuracy, competence, and confidence. Students are exposed to a great variety of academic listening and reading materials and extensive practice polishing their receptive and productive skills under time limits. Writing different types of essays, getting ample online practice and their instructor's help, learners are able to demonstrate the English language proficiency and become aware of their own progress. Having received sufficient training, students improve their test taking skills and enhance their performance on the TOEFL examination.
